John Stephen Glover

John Glover has authored two books, over 50 book chapters and articles in refereed legal journals [see linked Publication List] and obtained a PhD in Law. His publications have been referred to in the Australian High Court, Federal Courts, State Courts, the UK Court of Appeal and the Ontario Supreme Court of Justice.

In 1984, John first joined the Victorian Bar and practised in commercial law – until 1989, when he left the Bar to take up an academic position at Monash University, lecturing and researching in Equity, Trusts and Taxation Law. In 2004, John re-signed the Bar Roll. He was appointed Professor of Law at RMIT University in May 2009.

John graduated from the University of Melbourne with a B.A. (Hons) and LL.B. (Hons), before studying at Oxford University, graduating with a B.C.L. in 1982. [see linked CV (PDF 272KB)]. He did articles at Corrs, where he became an Senior Associate in 1979.
